About the Food Access Coalition

Born during the pandemic in 2020, the Food Access Coalition is a collaboration of Baltimore nonprofits, each with its own EIN, working to ensure no Baltimore resident goes hungry. Key partners include Baltimore Relief Network, Somebody Cares Baltimore and Haven City Church.

We're a regional distribution organization (RDO). Powered by a fleet of trucks, a central warehouse, and the faith-driven generosity of Baltimore's churches, we move surplus food to 191 partner food pantries and distribution sites, which share it free with their neighbors.
